Mineral-Rich Hydration Tonic

by | Recipes

We have an abundance of lemon’s and limes as we head into Winter. So we thought this recipe would be perfect to “boost” your minerals – giving your body the raw materials it needs to regulate, adapt, and communicate. We know water hydrates but minerals allow that hydration to actually be used.

This drink supports:

  • cellular hydration
  • mineral balance
  • nerve system communication
  • recovery after stress, training, or long days

This will be lovely to have either first thing in the morning, mid-afternoon (instead of caffeine), after exercise or sweating or during periods of stress or low energy.

Here’s what you need:

Here’s how to put it together:

  • Add everything to a glass
  • Stir gently (don’t shake)
  • Sip slowly and enjoy!

Options:

  • Add orange or lime instead of lemon
  • Serve cold with ice
  • Add a few mint leaves
  • Serve with sparkling mineral water instead of filtered water
